Targeting Criteria List

In alphabetical order

*Note that you have only access to criteria associated with active modules in your project.

Abandoned cart

To include contacts that abandoned items in a cart on one of your e-commerce website. This criterion could be used to send a reminder to these contacts about the items that interest them and encourage them to complete the purchase.

To program a reminder, you must specify the date or time the cart was abandoned to use it to define the delay.

You could exclude contacts who purchased an item after abandonning a cart and avoid promoting an article already bought from a contact.

A|B Split

To create a group from segments and create A|B Split campaigns targeting groups containing between 2 and 10 segments. The benefit of this type of group is to make sure a contact will be part of only one segment.

If you choose to divide the contact list in segments, the contacts will be distributed alternately in each segment, according to the contact's ID. In the following example, we have a project with 7 contacts. The distribution would be this way:

Contact Id 001Segment 1
Contact Id 002Segment 2
Contact Id 003Segment 3
Contact Id 004Segment 1
Contact Id 005Segment 2
Contact Id 006Segment 3
Contact Id 007Segment 1

You must precise which of the 3 segments is targeted by the group you are creating. If you add new contacts afterwards, they will be associated to one of the segments, without modifying the contacts already in the segments. When you delete a contact, the position that was assigned to this contact remains and is not assigned to another contact. This contact is deleted from the campaign.

The level of commitment is measured with actions of the contacts (openings or clicks inside the message) and according to recency or frequency of these actions. You can select more than one communication type. In advanced mode, hold the CTRL key to select several communication types.

For example, you could include contacts that opened a promotional message in the past 7 days or contacts who did not click in at least a Newletters type message.

Wether you chose recency or frequency, the displayed options will be different. With recency, you must specify the period, and with the frequency, the number of times.
