Creating a Template for Automated Campaigns

We recommend you to use the templates provided by Dialog Insight as a starting point to create your campaign. However, if you want, it's possible to create a template to use as a basis for your campaigns. We will see how in this article.

Access path: Automations → Automated Campaigns

Step 1: Generating the Template

Go to the Templates section under the 3 dots in the upper right:

Click Create a campaign template in the upper right and indicate a name for the template and the type of campaign:

Difference between a Recurrent and Exclusive campaign
Recurrent
Can be triggered many times depending on the foundation of the automation. The scenario repeats itself, but not necessarily on the same contact. This type of campaign has no end. It runs continuously in a loop.
  • Welcome campaign
  • Birthday wishes
  • Purchase confirmation
Exclusive
Triggers at a fixed date or manually. This type of campaign has an end at a predetermined moment.
  • Flash sale
  • Sale with a limit of 1 purchase per customer

Step 2: Add the Content

Add the content that will serve as a basis to create new campaigns. You must, at the minimum, add a trigger (green) and an action (blue) for the campaign to be functional.
→ See the Edition Guide for Automated Campaigns

When you are done, click Activate in the upper right.

Step 3: Use the Template

To use your template when you create a new campaign, click My templates when choosing a template:
