When you activate the Landing Pages module, Dialog Insight provides you with a domain to host your landing pages. With this default option, you can only personalize the prefix:
This example shows the URL that the contacts will see when they click a landing page for this project. If this generic domain does not suit you, you could use your custom domain if you have one.
Prerequisites
You must add and validate a domain to your account. More precisely, a sub-domain that is part of your main domain. In your account, you can have several domains for landing pages (but only one per project). This domain will be used only for landing pages.
Note : To modify the domain for your project (in the Landing Pages configuration), you must not have published landing pages. You must unpublish them if that is the case.
Step 1: Add the Custom Domain
In Account -> Domain management, go to Custom domains and click Add a custom domain:
Choose the (validated) custom domain in the list:
Select Landing Pages:
Step 3: Configure the DNS
Next, the instructions for the CNAME record will be displayed. Your IT team will be required for these DNS configurations.
Qu'est-ce qu'une entrée CNAME? CNAME stands for Canonical Name. CNAME records are part of the DNS (Domain Name System) and are used to associate one page to another via an alias. A CNAME record can associate your domain name to your landing page. You have to configure a sub-domain (sub-domain.domain.com), NOT a sub-folder (domain.com/sub-folder). |
The way to create a CNAME record varies according to the web host of your domain name. Your web host will be best suited to give you any required clarification on that matter. Depending on the platform you use (Canada or France), the DNS record to set up will be different:
Canada : landingpages.ofsys.com.
France : landingpages.mydialoginsight.com.
Note that you must specifically configure a sub-domain (subdomain.domain.com), not a sub-folder (domain.com/sub-folder).
Then, you will required to configure the SSL certificate. A verification will be done to validate that your domain is correctly configured.
Step 4: Add the domain to the module
Go to the Landing Pages configurations:
Select the domain in the list:
