This article explains what tracking links are and why you need to customize them.

Dialog Insight captures statistics on the links clicked in communications and also automatically presents certain forms to your contacts (such as opt-out forms or features to view an online message).

To do this, the links you place in your communications are replaced by links that point to the platform's servers.

When a contact clicks on a link, this link first is first redirected to Dialog Insight's servers (where the click is registered) before being sent to the final destination (on your site).
