To include your promo codes in your communications (emails, automated campaigns), you must first create a promo code lot and import codes into that lot. It is recommended that you create a new lot for each campaign to separate stats.

Step 1: Create the Promo Code Lot
Go to Libraries -> Promo codes and click Create a promo code lot:
Give a name to the lot (related to its function or the campaign) and indicate the threshold of remaining codes and the period of use:You can modify the threshold of remaining codes later. More info on notifications.
The end date corresponds to the expiration date for the promo codes you will import in this lot.
Step 2: Import Promo Codes
Start by clicking Import at the end of the line of the lot you want to make the import into:
