Restrictions on Send Time and Dates (France)
In France, the law prohibits sending for some dates and times (see the restrictions). A way to avoid sending during these times is to use the Send Time Optimization.
Send Time Selection
Your contact probably has habits for the time of day they read their SMS. The Send Time Optimization feature can help target the favourite time of a contact (you must have sent SMS before and have data compiled on the view time in the project).
Segmentation of your Contact List
Create a segmentation using the tools available in Dialog Insight (don't send an SMS to your entire contact list).

Prohibited and Blocked Terms
Some terms can damage your reputation as a sender. If you use these terms, your SMS could be blocked by an operator because the message is considered spam.
→ See the List of Prohibited and Blocked Terms
Characters Limit
SMS have a limit of 160 characters per fragment. Ideally, an SMS should contain only one fragment (Verify the Number of Fragments in an SMS). Some factors, such as personalization, can affect the number of fragments of the SMS. You could use the Non-GSM Conversion to make sure SMS only have one fragment.
Relevance of the Content
In order to create a relation, the recipient must feel engaged by your content. Make sure to target the right contacts and personalize the content.
Text Length
To optimize the chances that the message will be read, the content must be short and straight to the point. If you want to give more information as a complement to the SMS content, you could include a link to a landing page, a form or another type of call to action.
Brand Identification
In the message, indicate clearly your brand or the name of your company so the recipient knows who sent the SMS.
Automation
You could include your SMS in a larger sequence using Automated Campaigns. You could automate sequences for new clients or purchase confirmations.
Preview and Test
Before sending an SMS, it's important that you verify its rendering and make tests to avoid content that displays badly or simply doesn't get delivered.

Analyze the results regularly. This can help you detect potential problems with your sendings and fix them.
