Viewing conversion results

Conversion results let you view the number of Web pages visited and the number of events triggered by clicks in the message. This chart lets you see, for instance, the total number of visited pages amongst those configured to trigger such results. For example, you could configure the page Contact Us to register the contacts who have visited the page and then follow what other pages they have viewed.

Prerequisite The conversion module must be activated by Dialog Insight.
Once the conversion module is activated, the related events must be configured and the conversion codes inserted in the Web pages that will trigger a visit or an event. This procedure can only be performed by the Dialog Insight team.
Conversion data are only available for single mailings or messages sent within one mailing.

 How To

  1. From the list of elements, select the message, campaign or mailing for which you want to view visits and events. If needed, change the list of elements by selecting the right type of message using the slider, either Messages or Mailings.
  2. Once on the Summary page displayed, select the Conversions page in the drop-down list of options.

    The bar chart shows the conversion related data registered from links in the message.
Description of results
Result Description
Visitors Number of individuals clicks, that is the number of different contacts who have viewed a Web page that contains a conversion code, after clicking on a link in the message.
Visits Total number of clicks, or the total number of contacts who have viewed a Web page that contains a conversion code, after clicking on a link in the message.
Pages viewed Total number of viewed pages after clicking on a link in the message. It corresponds to the sum of all defined events which were configured when creating the Web page, by adding to the pages you want to follow the necessary conversion codes.
