Inserting Text in an Email (Drag-and-Drop editor)

Inserting text into an email based on a Drag and Drop template is done via text content blocks.

PrerequisiteCreate or open an email in the Drag & Drop editor.

How to

Insert text

  1. Once in the editor, drag a structure block first, into which you will drag a content block .
  2. Double-click in the block or place your cursor in the upper right corner of the area and click on the  edit icon.
  3. Add your text in the editor below. If you paste text from an external source, use the shortcut Ctrl+shift+V to paste as plain text or Ctrl+V to paste from Word.
  4. Apply the desired format to it using the various options available in the Styles and Configurations tabs.
    Note : Avoid using the editor to insert images (see Inserting an Image in an Email (Drag-and-Drop editor)).
  5. When you have finished editing the text, click Save and close. If the text does not appear as you wish, return to the editor and click on the Tx icon to delete the layout.

Insert a personalization field

The contact profile fields can be used to personalize the content of your emails. For example, you can insert the first name to personalize the salutation or add the email address.

  1. In the editor, place your cursor where you want to insert personalization and click on the  icon.
  2. In the Personalization window, select the field you want to insert.
  3. Click on the Insert button.
    Exemple : Hi [[=Contact.f_FirstName;]],
    When sending, the code [[=Contact.f_FirstName;]] will be replaced by the value entered in the first name field for each contact.

Add a link on text

  1. In the editor, place the cursor where you want to add the link and click on the  icon.
  2. In the Link library window, select the type of link you want to add.
    To add an operational link, see Creating and Inserting an Operational Link.
  3. Fill in the fields that appear.
  4. Click on the Insert button.
